THE ROLE Senior Structural Architectural Design Engineer
Location: Glasgow
Salary:£29 - £35
FPSG are currently recruiting for Senior Structural / Architectural Design Engineers to work on a long term project in the Glasgow area. The job holder is required to provide specialist advice and guidance in their domain/system and oversee all technical activities at system and equipment level. Develop, maintain and implement system plans and policies. Recognise and manage working interfaces with other teams and team members including supervision technically, professionally and administratively. Understand the DE-composition, flow down and sell-off of requirements to operate as Technical Authority for own system review and analyse own system supplier specifications and documents. Produce contractual technical documentation; produce practical and economic design solutions including safety justification statements. The job holder will be adept at written and oral communication with internal and external customers.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
A degree qualification in an appropriate Engineering subject or relevant experience in the Marine or similar industry sectors is essential and candidates should be able to demonstrate this at interview.
