    A leading manufacturing organisation based in the Rhondda Valleys are currently looking for a Production Administrator to join their team.

    The role of Production Administrator will involve:-
    Maintenance of all product enquiries & completion of specifications supplied by sales personnel
    Updating systems on a regular basis from information supplied by both Sales & Studio
    Complete specifications for quotation purposes, forward to Far East product managers or UK production sites.
    Run costing’s & check previous jobs for similar costs across products & suppliers.
    Produce cost spreadsheets & give to Sales Director/Operation Manager for sign off
    When order is confirmed finalise specifications & costings matrices.
    Confirm pricing details & brief purchase order instructions to merchandise assistants to raise purchase orders, raise Intent to Purchase letters for suppliers if relevant.
    Check job bags are complete & match against specifications and forward to relevant sites.
    Weekly production management meetings to ensure schedule is updated & all parties advised.
    Set up process for pre production and production samples .Check pre production and production samples and organise sign offs.
    Maintain PC order books for double check with internal system.
    Work with FE Product Managers on pricing control, search for new suppliers, supplier loadings etc on an ongoing basis.

    To be successful within this Production Administrator role you will need to have previous customer service / Administration experience ideally gained within a manufacturing environment would be an advantage but not essential. Must be computer literate, have excellent communication and organisational skills and the ability to work within a team or on own initiative.

    In return the company offer a salary of circa £18,000 per annum, along with 23 days holiday, company pension scheme and free car parking.

    The hours of work are 37.5 hours per week, the companies opening hours are Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5.30pm, and are flexible on hours worked between these hours
