A leading manufacturing organisation based in the Rhondda Valleys are currently looking for a Merchandise Controller to join their team.
The role of Merchandise Controller will involve retrieving information & customer critical paths in order to be able to plan production & update master order book
Set up & plan production based on previous years & Account Manager Information which includes adding matrix information once available
Manage a critical path which requires constant information being sought from various departments.
Arrange fortnightly meetings with relevant Account Manager & Commercial assistant & Studio to review customer orders, deliveries and any issues arising.
Check FE and UK production information against production plan and action relevant points to those concerned.
Regular updates with key personnel by telephone and VC.
Check all factory production is complete against daily reports.
Checking shipping schedule issued from Far East and supplier information.
The aim is to have all information available at any stage and be the main contact between UK and overseas sites.
Conduit for all parties within UK/Overseas
To be successful within this Merchandise Controller role you will need to have previous experience within a Similar role, have excellent communication skills – able to communicate at all levels within the organisation, must be computer literate and have the ability to work to tight deadlines.
In return the company offer a salary of circa £18,000 per annum, along with 23 days holiday, company pension and free car parking.
You will be required to work 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday between the hours of 8.00am and 5.30om
