A leading manufacturing company based on the outskirts of Cardiff are currently looking for a Transport Administrator / Logistics Administrator to join their team.
As a Transport Administrator / Logistics Administrator your role will involve:-
Planning loads for despatch via road / rail /sea
Ensuring delivery times, dates and customer requirements are met
Analysis of information from SAP and using results to make recommendations to improve the transport departments performance, i.e. optimising costs, tonnage and delivery performance
Liaising with the commercial team, production departments and haulers to ensure good customer service both internally and externally
Applications for this post of Transport Administrator / Logistics Administrator will be considered from individuals with previous experience within transport or logistics, have strong communication skills and a professional telephone manner. Experience of delivering excellent customer service, ability to work well within a team and must be PC literate in Word and Excel, experience of SAP would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be provided.
In return the company offer a salary of £16,500 per annum with excellent company benefits and onsite parking.
The hours of work are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm with an hour for lunch
