Due to continued demand for their excellent, novel technology, my award winning South Wales based client is currently recruiting for an experienced Production / Manufacturing Engineer. Daily responsibilities will include;
â?¢Development and establishment of new manufacturing processes
â?¢Automation of currently manual processes
â?¢Advising on the procurement and commissioning of new capital equipment including developing new floor layouts.
â?¢Liaison with all parties to ensure manufacturing remains lean and clean

Reporting into the manufacturing manager, the successful production / manufacturing engineer will ideally have experience in progressing a high technology, batch facility into a medium volume automated manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of process improvement, process flow and FMEA methodologies will be required in this role, as will a strong appreciation of health and safety policies and ISO9001 and 14001 standards. Previous experience in the introduction and commissioning of new equipment will be essential.
The ideal production / manufacturing engineer will degree educated, but time served engineers will be considered.
This is a small, growing organization developing a high technology product, who have excellent South Wales facilities who are offering a competitive salary of up to £28,000 p/a including a benefits package which includes pension and healthcare.
