Senior Java Programmer - Permanent Position - Spain

Up to ?40,000 per annum + excellent benefits

My client are a leading technology consultancy based in Brussels and have recently won a large project to complete a series of development projects across Europe with large private and national institutions. As part of a large recruitment drive, I am currently searching for a number of experienced Java/J2EE developers to join a large project, on a permanent basis, in Spain.

Working in a Prince2 environment, you will be tasked with a number of programming and testing responsibilities and will ideally be looking to move to Spain on a permanent basis to fulfil the described role.

As an experienced developer, you will have experience in applying engineering techniques from XP and Test Driven Development methodologies;
Use of User Stories to manage requirements
Use of CRC Cards to design the system
Use of Spikes - in an Agile Environment
Collective Code Ownership
Sequential Integration
Programming in Java/J2EE in an Agile / ITIL / SCRUM environment
Test Driven Development and Automation of Acceptance Tests

and

Proven experience of J2EE technologies, BEA Weblogic and TDD Techniques are essential and should be visible in the profile in the first instance.

We currently require 3 programmers who are looking for exciting permanent positions based in Spain. My client are able to offer subsidised travel costs, health and life insurances, 21 days paid vacation per year and subsidised accomodation as standard as well as up to 40,000 + bonus as compensation.
