International Sales Executive - Cardiff

Our client is a leading international event organiser, publisher and a digital media agency with offices in Bristol, Cardiff, New York, Kuala Lumpur and Sydney.

They have grown steadily over the past 16 years and have aggressive growth plans for 2010 targeting revenues of £55 million. In 2009 they achieved revenues of over £40 million and are now well positioned to offer you a fantastic career opportunity as an International Sales Executive.

Position: International Sales Executive Location: Cardiff City Centre based company looking for Sales Executives to work from their Cardiff Home Office and potentially relocate to New York or Kuala Lumpur after 3-6 months Salary: Entry Level – £17K + bonus + commission: OTE £52-70,000 first year

ROLE: Recent expansion has them move in to brand new premises, and they are looking for career-hungry, savvy, motivated individuals to work on exciting projects in the world’s most dynamic markets. They are looking to invest in people who will continue to help the company grow and develop the best media product portfolio in the world.

The International Sales Executive’s job involves speaking to the decision makers of major companies like Apple, BT, Microsoft, HP, Cartier and Google, and managing a portfolio of international brands. In this sense, you will be expected to deal competently and confidently with the top tier of management. Their sales executives work continuously with decision makers of major companies in an exciting and proactive environment which is always challenging but equally rewarding. The global performance of the company has also created an abundance of opportunities and as such, within this company, there is no ceiling to career progression.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE You will be energetic, assertive and intelligent, with the ability to think (and learn) on your feet. We always value drive and intensity over experience and these fundamental attributes must be demonstrated in your daily activities. You will also be highly ambitious, confident, career-driven, and have an outstanding work-ethic. An understanding of current business affairs is desirable. However, comprehensive training will be provided.

Candidates who have a 2:1 or above from the disciplines Business Management, Business Administration, History, Media, Journalism, English Language/Literature, Philosophy, Psychology, Sociology, Law or Languages are preferable. However, 2:2 and all other disciplines will be judged on merit.

Other academic levels of achievement and experience will be considered for outstanding candidates. This job is not exclusive to graduates.
