Job Profile
Due to an increase in business activity vacancies have arisen for AHU Specialist Estimators.
Reporting to the AHU Applications Manager, the role consists of preparation, processing and submission of quotations and tenders from completed project enquiry forms for all AHU Applications for all market sectors.
As part of the pre-order function the AHU Specialist Estimator will own and manage their quoted projects during its contract life cycle, updating records in liaison with both internal and external teams, to ensure Nuaire\'s offer matches the client\'s requirements in terms of specification, performance, pricing and data submission.
Key Skills
o Experience in AHU Specialist estimation with hands on knowledge of HVAC sector, ventilation products and solutions
o Good commercial awareness and a strong understanding of engineering, consultancy and construction contracting principles and methods of working
o Competence in managing projects, customer relationships, and problem solving, all aimed at achieving results
o Competence in using Microsoft Word and Excel, and ideally an experienced user of AutoCAD
o Excellent communication, influencing and numeracy skills

o Ability to work and contribute positively in a team environment
o Highly motivated with a \'can-do, make it happen\' attitude
o Methodical and logical mind with a keen attention to detail
o A self-starter and capable of working with minimum supervision
o Highly organised with excellent time management skills
o Desire to develop a career within the commercial environment
Qualifications
It is anticipated that the successful candidate would be educated to HNC standard (equivalent or higher) in Construction, Building Services or Engineering or have relevant work experience. A related HVAC Qualification would be desirable
