Job Elements: -
Ensure production and aircraft on ground issues are supported throughout all projects.
• Support production with fault diagnosis.
• Support production with electrical testing and systems.
• Inspect products on completion for electrical conformity to Industry Standards.
• Ensure that enhancements to product and process are fully engendered throughout the business’ systems.
• Support and maintain, continuation of operator training in line with industry standards.
• Liaise and work seamlessly with Design Engineers, Manufacturing Systems Engineers and Project teams.
• Verify component compatibility.
• Develop and implement production operation standards.
• Support FAI/CDR builds and reviews.
The ideal candidate will have:
• With a good understanding of mechanical engineering science and principles.
• Completed an electrical engineering apprenticeship together with a HNC.
• Preferable to have previous experience in aerospace industry.
• The successful candidate will have experience of working with electrical harnesses, actuators, encoders, solenoids, limit switches and proximity switches.
• Experience of electrical inspection, insulation testing, earth bond testing and relevant test equipment is also desirable.
• The ideal candidate will be a team player with the ability to work well under pressure and must be able to effectively communicate to all levels of organization and customers.
