Our client’s goal is to help organisations to maximise their recycling potential and minimise the amount of waste being sent to Landfill. They have a successful track record in providing bespoke solutions for a diverse range of organisations. They now require a Materials Recycling Facilities Manager to handle the day to day running of their main site in the Bridgend area. With ambitious growth plans they require an individual who can grow along with them. Displaying a dynamic personality and being able to influence others you will obtain the best out of the team by leading from the front.
General duties of the job:
• Maximising productivity by processing materials through the MRF as efficiently as possible
• Implementing and maintaining quality, environmental and H&S systems
• Ensuring product quality meets the needs of outlets
• Ensuring best utilisation of assets (people & equipment)
• Identifying, quantifying and implementing opportunities that will increase profitability
• Working within our site licence and demonstrating this to the EA
• Using KPI reporting to measure all aspects of performance
Candidate Requirements:
• Experience of system implementation such as ISO and H&S
• Minimum 3 years production management / production planning experience
• High level of commercial awareness
• Proven ability to gather and use data to make decisions
• Comfortable feeling empowered to make decisions / use own judgement make an impact
• Good level of computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
