| Chemical Engineers South Wales C956/612 £24 - 30k basic + excellent benefits package We are currently dealing with fantastic opportunities for career minded Chemical Engineers to work in a rapidly expanding department of a well known blue chip manufacturer. With vacancies in material science, development and process this is a once in a lifetime opportunity for experienced chemical engineers to establish a career in a reputable and enviable environment. Role & Responsibilities: Material Scientist oPlanning and execution of formulations for product development and testing oConfiguration of material specifications. oFrequently working with volatile and dangerous materials oClose liaison with internal and external laboratories and test facilities oProduct assessments, data analysis, report writing and presentation Development oDevelopment of materials and substances for use in a wide range of products oManufacture of small pilot batches of materials in support of existing and new products oTrial and assessment of samples, recording and measuring results to strict standards oConstant research and maintenance of knowledge base of relevant materials oGroup project management to include technical report writing, planning and safety documentation. Process oDevelopment of processes for integration of materials into new and existing products oScaling up of processes for large scale production oEvaluation of product design concepts oDevelopment of efficient manufacturing processes and statistical analysis Knowledge, Skills & Experience: oMust be qualified to a minimum of HND level in a Chemical Engineering or Material Science discipline oIOSH / NEBOSH Safety management certificates highly advantageous oStrong experience in trials planning and reporting Benefits Package: o£24,000 - £30,000 oHealth care, oLife assurance oPension oGroup bonus scheme Suitable candidates should apply immediately by calling Michael Gilbert for this vacancy - on 02920 894900 or by sending your CV directly to him at michael@hunterselection.co.uk We regret that this client is not prepared to sponsor work permit or work permit transfer applications.
