Job Elements: -
• Provide technical support to the company’s customers.
• All work orders referred to the team leader or technical manager
• Log all product issues with Technical Support Team Leader.
• Take ownership of customer issues and there resolution.
• Assist other internal departments within technical issues with regard to quotations, tenders and specification.
• Organise internal departmental and customer training when requested.
• Attend training courses organised by the Company.
• Visit customer site to resolve customer issues as necessary.
The ideal candidate will have: -
• Qualified to ONC or “A” level standard as a minimum.
• Ideally HND/Degree/Diploma in engineering or related field.
• Experience of providing technical support via the telephone would be advantageous.
• Must have knowledge of PC hardware and software.
• Good communication skills at all levels - written and verbal
• Effective planning skills to organise day-to-day activities and strategic long-term goals.
• High degree of commitment and positive outlook.
