Stress Engineer
South Wales

Up to £32,000 + first class benefits package

A leading designer and manufacturer of high quality systems currently have a vacancy for an ambitious Stress Engineer. Working in a highly skilled design and development team, you will be responsible for approving the feasibility of complex designs and concepts.

Role & Responsibilities:

oTo review, report and approve stress documentation for components and complex structures
oReading and approving design documents produced in Catia software
oHand calculations and use of OptiStruct software tools
oFrequent use of Patran and Nastran FEA tools

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

o HND / Degree qualified in a related subject
o Preferably 2 years experience in a similar role.
o Working knowledge of FEA packages (Nastran/ Patran)
o Candidates from automotive or aviation will have a strong application.
