| Job Elements: - • Responsible for the quality-related activities for purchased parts within the APQP & production phase, including supplier PPAP approval. • Focus on supplier complaint management with the timely introduction of containment actions and elimination of root cause of concern. • Work with suppliers on specific continuous improvement and supplier development initiatives. • Undertake supplier quality systems audits against defined audit schedule. Follow up and assist supplier with corrective action closure. • Ensure timely review and approval of supplier PPAP's. • Undertake internal quality systems audits to the requirements of TS16949. The ideal candidate will have: - • Ideally Certified TS16949 Lead Auditor • Have a minimum of 3 years quality engineering experience within within automotive manufacturing • Knowledge of 8D problem solving process • Fundamentals of APQP processes & milestones • Release procedures (QS 9000 PPAP, VDA 2) • Understand PFMEA/DFMEA techniques and how to drive these to provide proactive improvements • Detailed knowledge of TS16949/VDA quality systems & standards For further vacancies, please visit www.petrie.co.uk |
