Maintenance Engineer

An internationally distinguished group, specialising in fast moving consumer goods is looking for an experienced maintenance engineer to add to its growing team. Currently undergoing a large investment and expansion, this company offers a varied role including project work and will provide further education and training for a maintenance engineer seeking challenges and career development. A skilled maintenance engineer from manufacturing background is required to sustain and improve their high tech automated systems using their knowledge and background experience.
Role & Responsibilities:
oMaintaining automated production machinery
oHigh responsibility for machinery upkeep and improvements
oWorking on breakdowns and PPM
oProject work including new line installation, services and continuous improvements
oEquipment on site includes 3 phase electrics, PLC systems, packaging machinery, refrigeration equipment, pneumatics, gears, conveyors etc
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
oTime served, multi-skilled background, preferably with an electrical bias
oExperience in an FMCG environment or similar
oKnowledge of working with packaging machinery, refrigeration
Benefits Package:
oca. £25,000 + overtime
oDays regular shifts, but flexibility required
