Electro/Mechanical Design Engineer
South Wales

Our client is a leading manufacturer in the specialist capital equipment market and is currently looking to add to its progressive engineering team with a talented and experienced Design Engineer. Operating worldwide this company has an enviable reputation for excellence with its electro-mechanical products.
Role & Responsibilities:
*Responsible for aspects of both conceptual and modificational design
*Working within a multi-disciplined project team
*Carrying out design calculations and related feasibility studies
*Liaison with customers, management and internal departments
*Possibility of foreign travel to customer sites
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
*Electrical and mechanical design knowledge
*Experience using AutoCAD and/or Solidworks
*Familiarity with capital equipment design
*Understanding of PLC control systems and high voltage electrics is advantageous
