• Maintain a high level of both formal and informal communication to on site customers, business process and project related matters and business objectives to ensure customer service and to ensure that solutions are both practicable and workable.
• Manage staff, structure and budget to provide a customer focused site IT Team of high standard..
• Work with the site Senior Management, their management teams and staff to build an effective site IT team which consistently manages and meets internal customer expectations.
• Ensure the provision first class support for all IT site programmes/projects to ensure their quality, timely and effective completion to schedule.
• Develop staff to ensure that they have the requisite skills and competencies to facilitate personal development and business excellence within the programme, project and process field.
• Management of IT site related supply base to ensure best possible business value.
The ideal candidate will have:
• Graduate calibre with other practical experience or business qualification.
• Proven track record of leading and developing teams and individuals in a compliance driven environment.
• Proven track record of leading and completing IT projects
• Extensive IT experience, preferably in a global company with a high level and practical understanding of a manufacturing environment.
• Commercial and business acumen as well as high technical awareness in the concept and implementation of technology and systems.
• Prior experience of leading process change for business benefit.
• A knowledge of French would be an advantage.
