Automotive LCV / Van Technician required in Cardiff.

Our client, a Volume Franchise Dealer in the Cardiff area, is currently looking to hire an experienced and professional Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV/Van) Technician for their busy Workshop.

Job Specification:

As an LCV Technician your main duties will include carrying out fault diagnosis, service, and repair on vans as instructed to the standards laid down by the manufacturer and our client. LCV Technicians need to ensure faults are accurately diagnosed and report to Workshop Foreman/Controller as required on vehicle condition, safety, reliability and performance. As an LCV Technician you will need to ensure that quality and health & safety procedures relating to the function laid down by our client and manufacturer are adhered to at all times.

Applicant Specification:

You will need to be a fully qualified Vehicle Technician to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent as a minimum. You will need hold a driving licence, experience working on LCVs, be a committed individual and be a good team player. You must be able to produce a high quality of work in a busy environment and be motivated to work towards targets set for you team. Candidates with an MOT Smart Card would be of benefit to our client.

Our client is offering a basic salary up to £20,000 per annum with an efficiency based bonus (between £100 to £600 per month) and overtime. The position has a 39 hour working week with Saturdays on a rota.

Motor Trade experience is essential.
