£31,387 per annum
Permanent, 37 Hours per week
Our client is currently recruiting for a Maintenance Work Manager to join the Housing Maintenance team. The post assumes overall responsibility for the Maintenance Chargehands and trade operatives for Housing Maintenance Unit East Team.
Reporting directly to the Head of Maintenance, the successful Maintenance Works Manager will be responsible for delivering the repairs and maintenance function to our client’s housing stock and overseeing the productivity and income of trade teams. The Works Manager will play an instrumental role in the reporting and achievement of weekly/monthly KPI’s and will also be responsible for the day-to-day health and safety management of the HMU.
Other Maintenance Works Manager duties include contribution to the HMU weekly focus groups, ensuring that reports submitted at this group are both accurate and relevant, specifically relating to income, productivity and performance. The post holder will work very closely with the Planning Team, the Quantity Surveyor and the HMU Admin and Finance Manager to control responsive repairs, planned works and void maintenance.
The ideal Maintenance Works Manager will have previous experience in a Senior Supervisory/Management position leading multi-disciplined maintenance teams, along with excellent organisational, communication and administrative abilities. Applicants should be able to demonstrate credible leadership skills together with a good level of IT literacy.
